Standard Business Policies
Notice to Cancel an Appointment:
- Schedule changes are a common occurence in our fast-paced busy lifestyles. If canceling or rescheduling is necessary, please notify the massage therapist as soon as possible. She will be happy to accommodate you.
- Please text 605-695-5786 to cancel or reschedule. She will see this message before an email or voicemail.
- Schedule changes can also occur online by responding to the text appointment reminders.
- Canceled or rescheduled appointments must occur 12 hours before the scheduled time to avoid a charge.
- Canceled or rescheduled appointments within the 12 hours may be charged 50% of the scheduled massage fee.
- Considerations may occur in case of an emergency.
No Show:
- Failure to show for a scheduled appointment will result in being charged for the full amount of the scheduled massage.
- If the appointment was booked online and consequently paid for, that money will not be returned.
- In case of technology failures, I encourage clients to keep track of their scheduled massages on their own calendars before leaving my studio.
- The Acuity Scheduling app will send out email appointment confirmations and text reminders. These reminders may come more than once. We all experience technology failures. Keeping track of appointments on personal calendars is good practice.
Inappropriate or Unethical Client Behavior Policies:
If a client behaves unethically and makes any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances their session will be immediately terminated and will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment.
